Case Management Services Case Management services are available to all Lawrence County residents seeking drug and/or alcohol treatment. The purpose of Case Management is to ensure access to treatment, support services and promote the recovery process.
The Lawrence County Drug and Alcohol Commission will provide a comprehensive and confidential assessment. The assessment will determine the appropriate level of care such as detoxification, residential, halfway house, partial, outpatient, intensive outpatient or intervention services. Once the level of care has been determined, the Case Manager will make the necessary referral arrangements to a licensed drug and alcohol provider and assist the individual throughout the treatment process.
Intensive Case Management services offer support to individuals during the treatment and recovery process. The primary functions of the Intensive Case Manager is to help clients evaluate their strengths and needs, assist them in setting goals, link them with needed services, advocate for their rights and support them in working toward self-sufficiency. Some needs that can be addressed include:
· Medical · Legal · Employment · Transportation · Education · Housing · Family · Childcare · Budgeting · Life and social skills · Leisure skills · Mental health
Case Management services are provided at no cost to the individual. The Lawrence County Drug and Alcohol Commission also has funding available for treatment services for individuals meeting eligibility requirements.
