Lawrence County Annual Media Contest

The Lawrence County Drug and Alcohol Commission provides a full continuum of drug and alcohol services.  Internally, we provide the following services:

  • Case Management (Assessment, Treatment Referral and Intensive Case Management)

  • Jail Intervention

  • Middle and Elementary Student Assistance Program (Grades K–6)

  • Prevention/Education (Alcohol, Tobacco, Drugs and Character Building)

  • Student Assistance Program (Grades 7-12)

  • Tobacco Control Program

  

The Lawrence County Drug and Alcohol Commission contracts with local and/or out-of-county providers for the following services:

  • Intervention (Adolescent)

  • Family Education Support Group

  • Prevention (Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs - Pregnant Women and Women with Children Program)

  • Shelter (Women and Women with Children)

  • Tobacco Control (Prevention/Education, Smoking Cessation, Enforcement/Tobacco Compliance Checks, Youth Advocacy)

  • Treatment

    • Halfway House

    • Inpatient Hospital Detoxification and Residential

    • Inpatient Non-Hospital Detoxification and Residential

    • Intensive Outpatient

    • Methadone Maintenance

    • Outpatient (Including services provided in the Lawrence County Jail)

    • Partial Hospitalization
